General Information: General Description

The Side Airbag (SAB), located in the driver and passenger seat, protects passenger's head and shoulder. The SAB consists of the airbag and inflator.

SAB consists of airbag and inflator.

The airbag reduces the impact of a collision by filling up with gas.

Inflator keeps gas and uses it to deploy airbag on collision.

CAUTION: Never measure resistance of SAB directly, since the current of the measuring device may cause unexpected airbag deployment.
