Monitor Scantool Data

Ignition "OFF", connect scantool.
Ignition "ON" & Engine "OFF", select "Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC)" mode.
Monitor diagnostic trouble code and presence of trouble code.
Using a scantool, clear the DTC, and then re-check for DTC.

Is DTC present?
YES
- Go to "WIRE HARNESS INSPECTION " procedure.
NO
- Intermittent failure, system is OK at this moment. Do not change WCS (= Weight Classification System).
  Fault is intermittent, caused by poor contact in the connector/wiring harness, or was repaired and SRSCM memory was not cleared.
  
  Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage.
  
  Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure and go to "WCS RESET " procedure.
