Hazard Flasher Relay: Testing and Inspection

INSPECTION

HAZARD LAMP RELAY
1. Remove the negative (-) battery terminal.
2. Remove the ICM relay box.
3. Check for continuity between the terminals.
4. There should be continuity between the No.8 and No.6 terminals when power and ground are connected to the No.8 and No.9 terminals.
5. There should be no continuity between the No.8 and No.6 terminals when power is disconnected.
