Monitor Scantool Data

1. Connect scantool to Data Link Connector (DLC).
2. IGN "ON" & Engine "OFF"
3. Monitor the "ECU, KEY and SMARTRA STATUS" Parameter on the Scantool.
A. Specification : 'LEARNT'




Fig. 1) This data show that 3 keys have been taught, ECU has been learnt, Key in key cylinder has been learnt and SMARTRA3 has been learnt.
4. Have "ECM, KEY and SMARTRA" status been learnt?
YES
- Check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, damage on the ECM or SMARTRA.
And This DTC has not been erased in previous repair. Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
NO
- Go to "Component Inspection" procedure.
