Wheel Runout
WHEEL RUNOUT1. Jack up the vehicle and support it with jack stands.
2. Measure the wheel runout with a dial indicator as illustrated.
3. Replace the wheel if the wheel runout exceeds the limit.

Steel wheel
Radial: 0.6 mm (0.02 inch) (Average of LH & RH)
Axial: 1.0 mm (0.04 inch)
Aluminum wheel
Radial: 0.3 mm (0.012 inch)
Axial: 0.3 mm (0.012 inch)
