DTC33: Power Supply Low

  1. Before proceeding, see AIR BAG SAFETY PRECAUTIONS . Disable air bag system. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM . Disconnect Air Bag Control Unit (ACU) connector. Turn ignition on. Measure voltage between ground and terminal No. 5 (White/Green wire) of ACU connector. See Fig 1. If battery voltage is present, go to step  3. If battery voltage is not present, go to next step.
  2. Trace and repair open circuit between terminal No. 5 (White/Green wire) of ACU and battery. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . Go to next step.
  3. Check for continuity between terminal No. 6 (Black wire) of ACU connector and ground. If continuity exists, replace ACU. See AIR BAG CONTROL UNIT (ACU)  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. If continuity does not exist, replace harness between terminal No. 6 (Black wire) of ACU connector and ground.
