DTC 59: Passenger Module Short

Before proceeding, see AIR BAG SAFETY PRECAUTIONS . Disable air bag system. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM . Disconnect Air Bag Control Unit (ACU) connector and passenger-side air bag module connector. Check continuity of Green/Red wire between ACU terminals No. 13 and 14. See Figure. If continuity exists, replace harness between ACU and passenger-side air bag module. If continuity does not exist, replace passenger-side air bag module.
