DTC 57: Passenger Module Short To Ground

Before proceeding, see AIR BAG SAFETY PRECAUTIONS . Disable air bag system. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM . Disconnect Air Bag Control Unit (ACU) connector and passenger-side air bag module connector. Check for continuity between ground and ACU connector terminals No. 13 (Green/Red wire) and/or No. 14 (Green/Yellow wire). See Figure. If continuity exists, replace harness between ACU and passenger-side air bag module. If continuity does not exist, replace passenger side air bag module.
