Disabling Air Bag System (Aerio)

  1. Turn steering wheel so that front wheels are pointing straight ahead. Disconnect negative battery cable. Turn ignition switch to LOCK position and remove key. Remove AIR BAG fuse located in fuse box above left kick panel. See Fig 1.
  2. Release driver's side Yellow connector lock slider and disconnect connector. Pull out glove box while pushing stopper from both right and left sides. Release passenger's side Yellow connector lock slider and disconnect connector.
