Optima, Magentis (Canadian), Sedona & Sorento

CAUTION: SRS is equipped with a back-up power source to assure deployment of air bags if battery voltage is lost in an accident. Back-up power is available for approximately 150 milliseconds.

Turn ignition switch to LOCK position. Disconnect negative battery cable. WAIT at least 30 SECONDS or more before servicing vehicle. To activate SRS, ensure ignition key switch is in LOCK position. Connect negative battery cable. Perform SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK .
