Brake Pedal Height: Adjustment
- Disconnect brake lamp switch connector.
- Loosen the lock nut B, and turn the switch A counter-clockwise until it no longer contacts the brake pedal.
- Loosen the lock nut D, and adjust the pedal height by turning a push rod C.
Pedal free play: 0.16-0.31 in (5-8 mm)
- Tighten the operating rod lock nut D after adjusting pedal free play.
- Turn the switch A till the white rod of the switch appears about 0.1-2.5 mm and tighten lock nut B.
Tightening torque:
10-13 lb.ft (14-18 N.m, 1.4-1.8 kg.m)
- Connect the brake lamp switch connector.
