DTC 67: Passenger PRETENSIONER Short

Before proceeding, see AIR BAG SAFETY PRECAUTIONS . Disable air bag system. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM . Disconnect Air Bag Diagnostic Unit (ADU) connector and passenger-side seat belt pretensioner connector. Check continuity between terminals No. 3 (Black wire) and No. 4 (White wire) at ADU connector. See Figure. If continuity exists, replace harness between ADU and pretensioner. If continuity does not exist, replace seat belt pretensioner. See SEAT BELT PRETENSIONER  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
