DTC 34: Power Supply High

  1. Before proceeding, see AIR BAG SAFETY PRECAUTIONS . Disable air bag system. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM . Disconnect Air Bag Diagnostic Unit (ADU) connector. Turn ignition on. Measure voltage between ground and terminal No. 5 (White/Green wire) of ADU connector. See Figure. If battery voltage is present, go to step  3. If battery voltage is not present, go to next step.
  2. Trace and repair open circuit between terminal No. 5 (White/Green wire) of ADU and battery. Go to next step.
  3. Check for continuity between terminal No. 6 (Black wire) of ADU connector and ground. If continuity exists, replace ADU. See AIR BAG DIAGNOSTIC UNIT (ADU)  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. If continuity does not exist, replace harness between terminal No. 6 (Black wire) of ADU connector and ground.
