Removal & Installation
- Raise and support vehicle. Remove front wheels. Remove brake caliper. See FRONT DISC BRAKE PADS & CALIPER .
- Prior to removing front disc brake rotor, use a micrometer to measure brake rotor thickness in 4 places. Using a dial indicator, measure brake rotor runout. Compare measurements to specifications. See DISC BRAKE SPECIFICATIONS . Resurface or replace disc brake rotor as necessary.
- Using an impact driver, remove 2 disc brake rotor mounting screws. Remove rotor. To install, reverse removal procedure.
