Rear Disc Brake: Installation
- Position mounting support on rear wheel spindle and install two mounting support bolts.
Tightening torque: 33~49 lb.ft (45~67 N.m, 4.6~6.8 kg.m)
- Insert guide plate in mounting support.
- Install disc pads and shim out of disc plate, and secure disc pads with V-springs.
- Turn in brake caliper piston by using SST(0K9A4 263 001) to insert disc pads into brake caliper.
- Tighten two brake caliper lock bolts.
Tightening torque: 22~29 lb.ft (29~39 N.m, 3.0~4.0 kg.m)
- Connect brake hose with caliper and install connecting bolt.
Tightening torque: 16~22 lb.ft (22~29 N.m, 2.2~3.0 kg.m)
- Install parking cable in clip and caliper.
- Bleed brakes.
