Brake Pedal Free Play: Preparation

  1. Pump pedal a few times (with engine off) to eliminate any slack in system.
  2. To measure pedal free play, gently press pedal by hand until resistance is felt.

    Pedal free play: 0.16-0.28 in (4-7 mm)
