Shift & TCC Solenoids

Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Disconnect transaxle 9-pin connector. Using DVOM, measure resistance between ground and specified transaxle connector terminal. See TRANSAXLE CONNECTOR TERMINAL IDENTIFICATION table. Resistance should be 14-18 ohms at 68°F (20°C). If resistance is not as specified, replace faulty solenoid. If resistance is okay, ensure transaxle case is grounded. Intermittently connect battery voltage to appropriate transaxle connector terminal. An audible click should be heard from specified solenoid when voltage is applied. If click is not heard, replace faulty shift or TCC solenoid.
