DTC 58: Passenger Module Short To Battery

Before proceeding, see AIR BAG SAFETY PRECAUTIONS . Disable air bag system. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM . Disconnect Air Bag Diagnostic Unit (ADU) connector. Disconnect passenger-side air bag module connector. Check for battery voltage between ground and ADU connector terminals No. 13 (Green-Red wire) and No. 14 (Green-Yellow wire). See WIRING DIAGRAMS . If battery voltage exists at either terminal, replace wire harness between ADU and passenger-side air bag module. If battery voltage does not exist, replace passenger-side air bag module.
