DTC 57: Passenger Module Short To Ground

Before proceeding, see AIR BAG SAFETY PRECAUTIONS . Disable air bag system. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM . Disconnect Air Bag Diagnostic Unit (ADU) connector and passenger-side air bag module connector. Check for continuity between ground and ADU connector terminals No. 13 (Green-Red wire) and No. 14 (Green-Yellow wire). See WIRING DIAGRAMS . If continuity exists, replace harness between ADU and passenger-side air bag module. If continuity does not exist, replace passenger side air bag module.
