Disc Plate: Inspection

  1. Measure the thickness of the disc plate.

    Standard: 0.86 in. (22 mm) 

    Minimum: 0.78 in. (20 mm)

  2. Measure the runout at the outer edge of the contact surface of the disc pad.

    Runout: 0.003 in. (0.08 mm) max.

    CAUTION: There must be no wheel bearing looseness.
