Description & Operation
Instrument panel houses instrument cluster, center panel, several switches and controls. Indicator lights and gauges are active when the ignition switch is in ON or START position. Indicator lights and gauges receive signals from either a switch or variable resistance sending unit.

Deactivate air bag system before performing any service operation. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM
article. DO NOT apply electrical power to any component on steering column without first deactivating air bag system. Air bag may deploy.
