Water Pump: Removal

Drain cooling system. Disconnect battery. Remove necessary coolant hoses. Remove timing belt. See TIMING BELT . On 1.5L engines, remove generator adjusting bracket. On 1.8L engines, remove rear timing belt cover. On all engines, remove water pump mounting bolts, noting bolt lengths and locations. Remove water pump.
