Valve Springs

Measure valve spring free length and out-of-square dimensions. Replace valve springs if not within specification. See VALVES & VALVE SPRINGS  table under ENGINE SPECIFICATIONS. Install all valve springs with painted end of valve spring toward rocker arm.
