Sephia & Spectra

  1. Disconnect horn relay connector and remove relay. Relay is located in engine compartment fuse/relay box. Using an ohmmeter, check for continuity between relay terminals No. 2 and 4. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . Continuity should exist. If it does not, replace relay.
  2. Check for continuity between relay terminals No. 1 and 3. Continuity should not exist. Using jumper wires, apply battery voltage to terminal No. 2 and ground terminal No. 4.
  3. Check for continuity between relay terminals No. 1 and 3. Continuity should exist. If continuity is not as specified, replace relay.
