Tachometer Inoperative

On Sephia and Spectra, locate Yellow/White wire that runs from transaxle control module to tachometer. On Sportage, locate Yellow/Blue wire that runs from ignition coil connector to tachometer. Use an ohmmeter to check for an open or short in wire. Repair wire as necessary. If wire is okay, check tachometer operation. See TACHOMETER  under COMPONENT TESTS.
