Diagnostic Test

- CHECK FOR POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE (PCM) DTCS
- With the scan tool, read PCM DTCs.
Are any PCM DTCs set?
Yes
- Repair the PCM DTCs. Refer to 2.0L, DIAGNOSTIC CODE INDEX .
No
- Go To 2
- With the scan tool, read PCM DTCs.
- CHECK FOR HYBRID CONTROL PROCESSOR (HCP) DTCS
- With the scan tool, read HCP DTCs.
Are any HCP DTCs set?
Yes
- Repair the HCP DTCs. Refer to HYBRID CONTROL PROCESSOR MODULE (HCP), DIAGNOSTIC CODE INDEX .
No
- Perform the TESTING FOR AN INTERMITTENT CONDITION diagnostic procedure. Refer to TESTING FOR AN INTERMITTENT CONDITION .
- With the scan tool, read HCP DTCs.
