The Integrated Electric Pump (IEP) rotor position circuit is monitored for short to ground and short to power or open circuit conditions. If the IEP detects a circuit fault, it sends a message to the TCM over the LIN bus. The IEP rotor position sensor is integral to the IEP and not serviced separately.
