This diagnostic runs continuously when the following conditions are met:

No Park Lock Sensor circuit Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) set.
Supply voltage for the pressure regulators and solenoid valves is greater than a calibrated threshold.
Mechanical Limp in condition is not active.
