Functional Description - Primary HV Battery Pack

The Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) HV Lithium-Ion battery pack is a split battery configuration. The batteries are connected in series through a high voltage harness. The Primary HV Battery Pack contains the Battery Pack Control Module (BPCM). The batteries are not serviced separately and must be replaced as a compete assembly.
