Diagnostic Test

DETERMINE ACTIVE OR STORED DTC
NOTE:
Ensure the battery is fully charged.
1. Turn the ignition on.
2. With the scan tool, read ORC DTCs.
  Does the scan tool display active: B2774-00 EPPM CONFIGURATION MISMATCH?
  
  Yes
  - Go To the appropriate Service Information
  No
  - Perform the RESTRAINTS SYSTEM INTERMITTENT TEST. Refer to RESTRAINTS SYSTEM INTERMITTENT TEST .
CHECK ORC PART NUMBER WITH SCAN TOOL
1. With the scan tool, select ECU View, select ORC, select ECU Details, and read the ORC part number.
  Is the part number correct for the vehicle?
  
  Yes
  - Go To the appropriate Service Information
  No
  - Replace the ORC with correct part number. Refer to CONTROLLER, OCCUPANT RESTRAINT (ORC), REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  - Perform the RESTRAINT SYSTEM VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to RESTRAINTS SYSTEM VERIFICATION TEST .
CHECK VIN WITH SCAN TOOL
1. With the scan tool, read the VIN.
  Is the correct VIN displayed?
  
  Yes
  - Go To the appropriate Service Information
  No
  - Replace the ORC with correct part number. Refer to CONTROLLER, OCCUPANT RESTRAINT (ORC), REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  - Perform the RESTRAINT SYSTEM VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to RESTRAINTS SYSTEM VERIFICATION TEST .
CHECK CONFIGURATION
1. Check the Calibration (PROXI) of the ORC.
  Are there any problems found?
  
  Yes
  - Perform or Run the ORC (PROXI) Calibration Learning Routine in accordance with Service Information.
  - Perform the RESTRAINT SYSTEM VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to RESTRAINTS SYSTEM VERIFICATION TEST .
  No
  - Performing the Calibration (PROXI) resolved the issue.
  - Perform the RESTRAINTS SYSTEM VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to RESTRAINTS SYSTEM VERIFICATION TEST .
