Electric Parking Brake (EPB) Switch

The EPB system uses a manual pull switch to control the EPB apply and release. Each time the EPB switch is pulled, the internal signal changes and the EPB state converts to a different state if there is no internal fault to prevent it. Once the EPB switch is released, the internal signal changes, the previous switch request is ended and the EPB switch is ready for the next request.

The EPB switch signals are the following:

Hardwire Inputs 

• Turn EPB switch icon indicator light ON/OFF

Hardwire Outputs 

• ON/OFF state to BSCM
