Theory Of Operation - Hands Free System

The Hands Free System is a feature that allows the user to input user desired actions of the Radio via voice command. Located within the headliner are two Hands Free Microphones that are wired directly to the Radio. The Radio detects Microphone circuits for fault criteria and when fault criteria is met, the Radio sets Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC).
