Theory Of Operation

The Engine Disconnect Clutch (K0) is responsible for torque transfer between the engine and transmission as well torque transfer between the electric motor and the engine. This DTC indicates there was no torque transfer detected during the Engine Disconnect Clutch during the closing process when an engine slip start or starter event is occurring.

The Engine Disconnect Clutch is not a serviceable component and is only available with the complete transmission assembly.
