When Monitored
WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
This diagnostic runs once after each ignition off cycle during the leak check diagnostic:
- Ignition off time more that 6 hours.
- Ambient temperature between approximately 4°C (39°F) and 35°C (95°F).
- Vehicle is not in a refueling event.
- Battery voltage above 11.0 volts.
- Fuel Tank volume between 12 and 88%.
- Fuel Tank counter elapsed.
- There are no circuit faults present for the ELCM, FTIV, FTP Sensor, or Purge Solenoid.
- The FTP Sensor reading is monitored at the beginning of the Evaporative system diagnostic. If the reading is inconclusive, the Fuel Tank side of the system is checked for a leak again after the fresh air side of the system is checked and passes leak testing. At this time the system pressure value is compared to the calibrated 0.20" small leak threshold.
