Battery Coolant Pump: Notes

REMOVAL
- Drain the battery cooling system. Refer to DRAINING .
- Remove the battery pressurized coolant bottle. Refer to RESERVOIR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .NOTE:
Not necessary to drain the low temp cooling system.
- Remove the low temp pressurized coolant bottle nut and position aside the low temp pressurized coolant bottle.
1 - Low Temp Pressurized Coolant Bottle Nut 2 -Low Temp Pressurized Coolant Bottle - Remove the coolant bottle bracket bolts and the coolant bottle bracket.
1 - Coolant Bottle Bracket 2 - Coolant Bottle Bracket Bolts - Disconnect the battery coolant pump wire harness connector.
1 - Battery Coolant Pump Wire Harness Connector - Disconnect the battery coolant pump inlet hose from the battery coolant pump.
1 - Battery Coolant Pump Inlet Hose 2 - Battery Coolant Pump Outlet Hose - Remove the battery coolant pump bolts and the battery coolant pump.

INSTALLATION
Follow the removal procedure in reverse for general reassembly of the components on the vehicle. The steps listed below are calling out specific procedures that should be followed during installation.
- Fill the battery cooling system. Refer to FILLING THE BATTERY COOLING SYSTEM .
- Check the battery cooling system for leaks. Refer to HV BATTERY COOLING SYSTEM LEAK TESTING .
