Inspection - Cylinder Head

Check the cylinder head for warping with a straight edge and a feeler gauge.
The cylinder head must be flat within specification. Refer to ENGINE SPECIFICATIONS .

2 - Feeler Gauge
Remove any carbon or varnish deposits from inside of valve guides with a reliable guide cleaner.
Inspect the following components and verify that they are within specification:
Refer to ENGINE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Valve Springs
- Valve Seats
- Valve Guides
- Valves
