When Monitored

This diagnostic runs continuously when the following conditions are met:

With the engine running.
No CMP Sensor, CKP Sensor, Oil Pressure Sensor or Engine Oil Temperature Sensor faults active.
The target error diagnostic runs when the modeled Camshaft Position changes less than one engine degree (stable condition) for more than one second.
The slow response diagnostic runs when the following are met:
- the engine oil temperature is above -7°C (19.4°F).
- time since an MDS transition is more than 0.5 seconds.
- when there is a change in the modeled Camshaft position of more than one engine degree (moving) for more than 3.5 seconds.
