Input Shaft Seal: Notes

REMOVAL

Remove the transfer case. Refer to MPT3028C TRANSFER CASE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
Using a suitable tool, remove the input shaft seal and DISCARD .

1 - Input Shaft Seal

INSTALLATION

Follow the removal procedure in reverse for general reassembly of the components on the vehicle. The steps listed below are calling out specific procedures that should be followed during installation.

Use tool (special tool #2076700210, Installer, Input Shaft Seal) to install the NEW input shaft seal in the transfer case.
