Inspection - Valves: Notes

- Inspect the valves for wear or damage. Install new valves if necessary.
- Inspect the retainer lock grooves for wear or damage. Install new valve if necessary.
1 - Upper Valve Stems 2 - Retainer Lock Grooves 3 - Valve Stems 4 - Valve Face 5 - Margins - Inspect the valve face for wear and pitting. Install new valve if necessary.
- Measure the valve stems and margins for wear. Refer to ENGINE SPECIFICATIONS . Install new valves if necessary.
