Instrument Panel Center Speaker

REMOVAL 

1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the defroster grille. Refer to GRILLE, DEFROSTER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
3. Remove the speaker mounting fasteners (2).

4. Disconnect the wire harness connector (3) and remove the speaker (1).

INSTALLATION 

1. Position the center speaker (1) to the instrument panel. Connect the wire harness connector (3).
2. Install the speaker (1) into the instrument panel.

3. Install the speaker fasteners (2) and tighten securely.
4. Install the defroster grille. Refer to GRILLE, DEFROSTER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
5. Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector.
