Theory Of Operation

The Comfort Seat Module (CSM) controls the Vented Seat motor in each seat cushion and seat back. It receives requests via CAN - IHS Bus from the Body Control Module (BCM) and provides outputs to the designated Vented Seat motor. The Vented Seat motors are powered by a fuse located in the interior Power Distribution Center (PDC) assembly. The Vented Seat motors operate with a low side driver supplied by the CSM.
