PCV Valve

REMOVAL

The Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) valve is mounted in the right rear side of the intake manifold.

Remove the engine cover.

Rotate and lift the PCV valve counter clockwise to remove it from the intake manifold.

Check the condition of the two PCV valve O-rings, replace if necessary.

CLEANING

Clean the PCV valve mounting surface of the intake manifold opening.

INSTALLATION

Follow the removal procedure in reverse for general reassembly of the components on the vehicle. The steps listed below are calling out specific procedures that should be followed during installation.

Lubricate the O-ring seals with clean engine oil before installing the PCV valve.
