Right Muffler Heat Shield: Notes

REMOVAL

Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
Remove the spare tire heat shield. Refer to SHIELD, HEAT, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

1 - Exhaust Isolator

2 - Exhaust Isolator Bolts

Remove the exhaust isolator bolts and the exhaust isolator (right side).

3 - Exhaust Isolator

Remove the ground strap.
Remove the exhaust isolator bolts and the exhaust isolator.

1 - Right Muffler Heat Shield Nuts

2 - Right Muffler Heat Shield
Remove the right muffler heat shield nuts and the right muffler heat shield by sliding it through the frame and out through the spare tire opening.

INSTALLATION

Follow the removal procedure in reverse for general reassembly of the components on the vehicle.
