Functional Description - Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor

The Fuel Rail Pressure (FRP) Sensor is a 4-wire sensor with redundancy. The FRP Sensor mounted on the fuel rail. The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) provides a 5-volt supply and sensor ground for the sensor. The PCM monitors the voltage on the analog sensor signal circuit to determine the fuel pressure in the fuel rail.
