Inspection - Valves: Notes

Inspect the valves for wear or damage. Install new valves if necessary.

2 - Retainer Lock Grooves

3 - Valve Stems

4 - Valve Face

5 - Margins

Inspect the retainer lock grooves for wear or damage. Install new valve if necessary.
Inspect the valve face for wear and pitting. Install new valve if necessary.
Measure the valve stems and margins for wear. Refer to ENGINE - SPECIFICATIONS . Install new valves if necessary.
