Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) is illuminated on the first trip that the diagnostic fails.
Shut off engine to engage PARK if there is a lever fault.
Transmission Control Module (TCM) will inhibit Transmission from being shifted out of PARK if the Park Pawl is engaged.
REVERSE gear will not be available.
Storage of driver requests for Reverse and Drive will be disabled.
Request sent to shut off engine.
Car wash Neutral hold feature is disabled.
Special shifting modes (Sport Mode, Winter Mode, Manual Mode, etc.) will be disabled.
