When Monitored

This diagnostic runs continuously when the following conditions are met:

• Ignition on.
• Temperature jump detected in chip 2 temperature.
• No failures detected in the engine speed signal, Input Speed Senor signal and chip 2 temperature sensor monitoring with the engine speed greater than 400 RPM for a calibrated amount of time.
• The input speed is greater than 400 RPM and the time that the engine speed or input speed is greater than or equal to five consecutive minutes.
• No failure detected in the chip 2 temperature sensor monitoring.
