Battery Coolant Heater: Removal

- Power down the high voltage system. Refer to: HIGH VOLTAGE POWER DOWN .
- Loosen the cap on the battery cooling system pressurized coolant bottle to relieve any residual pressure.
- Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
- Remove the IDCM skid plate. Refer to PLATE, SKID, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Remove the transmission skid plate. Refer to PLATE, SKID, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Remove the left side skid plate. Refer to PLATE, SKID, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Remove the transmission crossmember support. Refer to CROSSMEMBER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Drain the battery cooling system. Refer to: BATTERY COOLING, DRAINING .
- Remove the Integrated Dual Charging Module (IDCM). Refer to MODULES, HIGH VOLTAGE SYSTEM, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

1 - Battery Coolant Heater Bolts 2 - Battery Coolant Heater - Remove the Battery Coolant Heater (BCH) bolts and lift up on the BCH for access to the coolant hoses.
1 - BCH Inlet Coolant Hose 2 - BCH Outlet Coolant Hose - Disconnect the BCH inlet coolant hose.
- Disconnect the BCH outlet coolant hose.
