Diagnostic Test

CHECK FOR POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE (PCM) DTCS
1. With the scan tool, read PCM DTCs.
  Are there any other PCM DTCs present?
  
  Yes
  - Repair PCM DTC(s). Conduct the applicable diagnostic procedure(s). Refer to: DTC INDEX (1 OF 3) and/or DTC INDEX (2 OF 3) and/or DTC INDEX (3 OF 3) .
  - Perform the POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST .
  No
  - Go To 2
CHECK FOR ANY SERVICE BULLETINS OR PCM SOFTWARE UPDATES
1. Check for any applicable Service Bulletins or Flash updates related to the DTC or stall condition.
  Are there any applicable Service Bulletins or Flash updates?
  
  Yes
  - Perform the applicable repair.
  - Perform the POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST .
  No
  - Perform the START AND STALL CONDITION test procedure. Refer to Driveability - Gas - Non-DTC Based Diagnostics - DIAGNOSIS AND TESTING .
  - Perform the POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST .
