Known Vehicle Issues

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.

Listed below are vehicles that have system issues that may cause an incorrect DTC to set which may lead to misdiagnosing the system.

  1. Heavy Duty Trucks  - Trucks that are equipped with a Drivers Door Module (DDM) may set the U110E LOST AMBIENT TEMPERATURE MESSAGE fault when there is an open in the circuitry instead of the P0073 AAT SENSOR CIRCUIT HIGH fault. When diagnosing one of these vehicles with the U110E present, always diagnose the entire circuitry and sensor first.
  2. 2018 - 2019 JL  - A short to ground in the AAT Sensor Signal will set the P0073 AAT SENSOR CIRCUIT HIGH DTC instead of the P0072 AAT SENSOR CIRCUIT LOW DTC.
  3. 2019 KL  - May set the U110E LOST AMBIENT TEMPERATURE MESSAGE fault when there is an open in the circuitry instead of the P0073 AAT SENSOR CIRCUIT HIGH fault. When diagnosing one of these vehicles with the U110E present, always diagnose the entire circuitry and sensor first.
